Throne of Skulls : Been there, Done that, Got the T-Shirt

Back from a fun packed day at Throne of Skulls, held at Warhammer World, Nottingham; very tired and still sorting through a mountain of very poor photos I took, trying to rescue enough for a half decent article.

Those lethal hands have struck once more (Grrr) and to reference Robert Capa again for an analogy; he managed better focus whilst under fire, hitting Omaha Beach, than I did in the (mostly) peaceful environs of the gaming hall.

Tomo will be recounting his experiences in a future article so I'll not steal his thunder, suffice to say he didn't take home the Skulls Trophy *sniff*, but did walk away with a wealth of experience and the satisfaction of a good weekends gaming. Hurrah!

The aforementioned T-Shirt, catchy tagline eh?

Anyway, here are a few photos good enough to post up right away; a pre Heresy era Thousand Sons army by a chap called Phil Henderson, using the Grey Knights codex. This stunning army took Phil around 4 months to complete, the individuality of the miniatures and sheer ingenuity was jaw dropping; check out the Tutelaries on these guys! :)
