A Paperless World? : The Quartermaster App

This month has seen Games Workshop make a belated but smart move into the digital age, so I thought it fitting to mention my introduction to another tool for the 40k hobbyist, brought forth from the MCP (ahem... I mean Apple) controlled realms of Cyberspace.

Credit goes to one of the newest recruits to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Danny for giving us the heads up on this. It's an App called Quartermaster and whilst I haven't had a lot of time to play around with it yet, first impressions are that this is a great gaming aid.

A Time of Heroes

On returning to the blogosphere this week, following another enforced leave of absence (I've been declared officially on the mend and return to light duties in a few days, so lots of kit prep).

I find it to be a time of great deeds and legends reborn.

Missing In Action : Chuck Norris, Barbarians, Goblins and Ninjas

A post today just to let any who were worried (hi Mum) know that I haven't fallen off The Veil's Edge and that the Astronomican is still functioning out here, albeit as faint and weak as my Web connection.

Nobody Tosses a Squat! : Demiurg Rumours

Today Natfka posted up a set of rumours in relation to the possible return of the Demiurg (thats Squats for oldies like me) in the Tau Codex; I don't want to steal his thunder so you can read what he's compiled from various sources over on his blog Faeit 212. I thought I'd mention it following on from last Fridays Jokaero post.

Gone From The Warp : Ron Hangs Up His Hat

It is with great sadness that I read today of Ron's decision to suspend indefinitely his From The Warp Blog Spot. Ron has been and will remain a giant amongst the 40k blogging community; it was his site that first lured me away from the forums, inspired me to join in with the community and start a blog of my own.

Pardon Our Dust

Had a couple of spare hours today and decided to have a tidy up and do some more remodeling to the Edge. I know, you'd of thought I'd have learnt my lesson by now, but I just can't help tinkering; Blogger has such wonderful toys.

A DIY Success and a near IT Disaster

The shelves are up in the painting room and they're not half bad, even if I do say so myself, hurrah! Crosses one objective off the long list; so the years off to a good start. Now my host of unfinished projects and half painted miniatures can glower down and motivate me with a mixture of guilt and the threat overloading the brackets; damn you plasterboard walls.

Heresy Online bows out of the Blogosphere

The sharp eyed among you, those who have not spent decades hunched over a poorly lit painting table or fusing your eyeballs playing console/Pc Games until O'Mygodaclock; are blessed with youth or are just named 'Shoggy' Domor. May have noticed my little section of The Webway shrank by one earlier today.
